Re: need help

I've tried it, but my Machine gets too hot. Maybe the impressive weather is an indicator for that.. But Michail should be able to crack that hash in a timely manner. In the other way I'm not sure if he will do it, because this is a development-board and not a "please crack my hash"-board. So lets se...

Re: [SOLUTION] Falling back to CPU

Or try it this way: AMD is a funny club so it has renamed amdcalx.dlls to aticalx.dlls. So look in your SystemXX folder for the renamed DLLs copy&paste them into the folder with your Brook+ programm and change aticalx.dlls to amdcalx.dlls If this won't work try this: http://forums.amd.com/devforum/m...

Mmhh, problem solved. xD
But your hardware might thank you for a better cooling - no watercooling needed but a nice, huge heat sink with a big fan would affect wonders.

so long

Re: Very huge problem. :0 Computer shuts down?

Ah okay I get it. :)
But if you are asking me, I would become insane by the sound of your machine! About 5000 RPM ?? What about getting a new CPU-cooler?
So have fun building your machine. ;)
I'm glad that I was able helping you.

Re: Multiple hashes

I'm running Linux pass it to me, but only if you want.
I've got an Intel Q9555 and a GF GTX260 if it matters.
But Stavros has to give me his MD5 hashes first, because I have no MD5 file to test your script. ;)
Then I could crack Stavros' hashes and you will become some beta-feedback.

Re: Very huge problem. :0 Computer shuts down?

I don't want to assure that it won't mess up your components, but this temperature based shut down protects your hardware from getting too hot. Furthermore your components are able to take even higher temperatures. I didn't get it right, is your system stable now? I've some problems understanding yo...

Re: Very huge problem. :0 Computer shuts down?

Quite hot... The PSU should handle it easy. I think it is really a temprerature porblem, maybe the system doesn't hang using badaboom because badaboom doesn't fire the GPU AND the CPU that much. Are you able to open your case and try to clean it? Or are you sure no dust is blocking the cooler? Hope ...

Re: Very huge problem. :0 Computer shuts down?

It sounds really like a hardware problem. Such rapid shutdowns are not typical for software faults.
What about the temperatures? Can you check them with tools like SpeedFan? And what kind of PSU do you have?

Re: Very huge problem. :0 Computer shuts down?

At night it isn't that hot as over the day... Just a joke ;) As i started to run BarsWF i recognized way higher temperatures as in games, maybe BarsWF uses the GPU more efficient. Did you try to run it without the -grid_n and -gpu_time extensions? And what kind of system shutdown is it? A rather nor...

Re: Very huge problem. :0 Computer shuts down?

Sounds like a heat problem.
Are you sure that your cooling is powerful enough?
And think about dust in the fans, try to clean it.
If that doesn't work post more details of your System.

Re: How to use BarsWF for Windows SAM passwords?

Websites often use MD5 hashes to check passwords. But its a bit more complicated to get these hashes. In case I am using my Linux-Box at the moment I can't list you some Tools, but as far as i remember, reading the passwords isn't that easy. I believe they are somewhere in the Kernel, so you need to...

Re: How to use BarsWF for Windows SAM passwords?

AFAIK the answer is quite simple:
These hashes aren't MD5 hashes. But BarsWF is a oder the MD5 "cracker".
Its like you try to push an elephant trough a door: It doesn#t fit. ;)
