If anyone cares, this is the case i ended up with that doesnt break the bank. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811146047 Still a bottom mount PSU model but there is more clearance between the board and the PSU. Comes with 4x 120mm fans and 2x 140mm fans. Stock fans run quiet, bu...

Re: barswf.save = ?

barswf increments differently then most apps, probably a more efficient way to increment to check the partially reversed hash. So dont expect to be able to resume a crack from where another cracker app left off.

Re: Poll: How many hashes you are going to crack in multi-hash?

yeah an internal case switch that will check depending on the amount of hashes seems good, if there there is even a big difference in the different methods. I definitely crack 100-300k databases constantly. using pwpro i have to split them up into smaller chunks because it starts having problems cra...

Recommend a case for 4x gpu's?

The problem I'm having is the motherboard I am using the last pci-e slot is at the very bottom, so double wide video cards go one slot lower then the bottom of the motherboard. I bought an antec300 case for the cooling. Its one of the cases where the psu is mounted at the bottom but there is no clea...

Re: How high can you get

my crack box has a 1100 watt psu, overkill but i didnt want it to be an issue. my cpu is only like 60watts too. I had bought 4x 9800gt (double slot) with an antec300 case for the better cooling but now the bottom pci-e slot is right above the psu and the double slot 9800gt wont fit. So i grabbed my ...

Re: Distributed crypo-network discussion

Would be nice if it only worked when im not on the pc, like if it could detect mouse/keystrokes and go idle. That way i could leave it running 24/7 and forget about it... and not have to open/close it constantly when i get on/get off the pc.
