Re: [HowTo] BruteForce TrueCrypt!

Well, I did some tests with it. The speed is around 2~3 keys / second. I've discovered why: the app doesnt attack a container by itself, but launches and kills TrueCrypt to do it. Seems it just passes the command line parameters. Really looking forward to a C# version. I'm not from Germany, however,...

Re: [HowTo] BruteForce TrueCrypt!

Well, since TrueCrypt uses PKDBF key strengthening, I assume the speed wont exceed those of 500~2000 k/s.
Still, it's useful

Re: BarsWF motivated me...

In i7/i5 maybe, I guess the test is just too fast to be a good benchmark. Btw, does it brute-force using mixalpha-numeric charset ? Well, I found out that on my CPU, 4 threads are faster than 8(logical, no?). Here are my benchmarks: Working: 1d28d258250876fb7dde22a17436ef9c Worker [1] => Reporting! ...

Re: DES Cracker BETA

Yes, something must be changed in code for it to work.
EGB has already been recompiled to work with Fermis.
OCLHC is OpenCL app, so it didnt need recompiling.

Re: DES Cracker BETA

Yes.
All software, that was compiled for CUDA before Fermi release would run on all cards.
Now, something needs to be changed for CUDA apps to work on Fermis.

Trying to understand the source of MySQLFast cracker

Howdy. Here's the code : http://paste2.org/p/865399 It's marvellous that Secret Squirrel released the source, but, as I see, he either wasnt lazy to obfuscate it, was in a weird mood or wrote the code while being under dope. Can any experts point to the idea/main principle used to crack mysql hashes...

Why such speed? Reversing isnt implemented in oclhc. It does not use CPU(only allowed on ATI/AMD with SSE3 enabled CPUs). It's not compiled with ICL.
It's a great tool for professionals.

Only problem i now have, that it finds the hashes, but after, for example, 1 hour it finishes without ever cracked a hash. I am already using mixalpha-numeric-all-space in the hope it can generate more solutions to crack the hash, but also that does not work There is no 100% guarantee that a certai...

Re: DES Cracker BETA

Had the same issue.
Solved by pressing enter at the end of the last hash(in the hash list).
