Re: How high can you get

ordimans, BarsWF for AMD GPU's uses Brook+, which reserves one CPU core for itself.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Schwarzwaldhacker, I know you're busy, but will support for bigger MySQL hash lists be added?
And what will the speed be(your prediction)?

Tried to run a list of 525 hashes.FAIL:

Re: How high can you get

Why video cards have such poor performance when it comes to double precision?
Tesla C1060 performs 933 GFlops in single precision calculations, yet only 78 GFlops in double precision! That's almost 12 times less!
A good overclocked i7 can beat that!

Re: GPU temperature

Replacing the video card's cooling is a good idea. Not only will it keep the GPU cooler, it will also prolong it's life/allow more overclocking. When I had 8800 GTS, I replaced the ol' turbine with Arctic Cooling Accelero Xtreme. It was amazing...so cool, so quiet :D Right now, I even removed GTX 28...

Maybe, just maybe, downloading the latest WHQL drivers(195.62) and installing latest CUDA toolkit(2.3) will help?
Dont forget to remove old ones using safe mode.

Ahh, so it's only for the flat. Then it's ok.
It has 3 antennas.Do they really improve the coverage?

Looks nice.
You can make it more efficient by installing a 12 dBi antenna, actually, from D-Link

That's even better, but AMD lacks support of it's computing language. It looks like they dont actually care about it.

Re: GPU overclocking to increase hash/sec

I find it useful, D3ad0ne !
1 issue bothers me, though : 128 shaders of 8800 GTX equal to 9800 GTX IF both equal in clock. Is there no way to "define" generations ?Ofc, If there is no official info/loads of test, that's not possible to do.

FurMark actually stresses GPU's nicely, dont know if it's valid for shader domain stability testing.

Any1 wants to write Linpack for GPU's ?

Re: Alienware M17x - SLI GTX280m + 9400, only one GPU running

CPU cores look kind of hot for notebooks, but the GPU is somewhat good.Indeed, quite cool for a notebook. Is the fan noise disturbing when you run BarsWF for at least 5 min ? Can you check GPU's temperatures with GPU-Z?It will probably give the t. for both cores... Anyways, that's really nice results...

Can it work stable for 30 minutes?an hour? 3 hours ?
Also, can you provide the temperature of GPU cores after some time of running the cracker ?
GZ with personal record ;)

Re: IP Spoof or what?

Well, I mostly use torrents with DHT, local peer discovery and peer exchange, but I see this for the first time.
Also, I'm not in a network, connected to the internet through a router(PPPoE), ports closed.
So even after all that It's still local peer discovery?
