i think optimising the code for 500 - 5000 hashes will fit for most people.
i guess id try cracking 1mio hashes for once as well but i wouldnt need it :P

Actually, GPU chips are quite efficient for cracking - they have not so much redundant staff :crazy: we may throw away texturing units, memory interface, combine all multiprocessors into single one(saving on instruction fetching, decoding and stuff), probably reduce amount of registers/cache, all t...

i think we can forget wpa for a while as in 4 or 5 days there will be a new method presented which is told to be able to crack WPA TKIP or WPA1.

what about cable internet ? over the tv cable (dunno if that exists in other countrys ;)).
its cheap and fast. ( 32000 kbit/s for 55€ )

€ Dark : folding@home is supporting GPUs plus its a science project which i would support while i wouldnt support seti@home ;)

ah ok i thought you gave up the whole algo.
yeah well if the hdd isnt to slow then RTs rock with lm hashes. specialy with a multicore rcracki ;)
