We cannot have name CUDA-related, as it will support AMD thing & CPU only.

Re: Problems Running Cuda version

Ok, second one is normal when one of threads hang for some reason...
In this case the reason might be unsuccessful memory allocation of 8400GS.
Check out for new version in 1-4 hours.

Re: Problems Running Cuda version

Hmm... Is it crashing at this point or what? Update: Ops, I see the error, nice.
Could you try it with your cards by one? (i.e. 8400 alone first, then your second card alone)
Different cards were working ok up to this point.

Re: creative new approaches

You could split up the dictionary in multiple parts, one for each GPU... Would the dictionary be loaded into VRAM or into normal RAM? To normal RAM first, then copied to VRAM. If your GPU does 1'000'000'000 keys per second that would require ~10Gb/sec transfer from memory->vcard, which is impossibl...

Re: Which linux distributives to support?

MacOS supports CUDA, so I am going to support MacOS too sometime (even if it would require separate build machine).
It would be impossible to build from sources as sources are going to be closed. (that was described in the discussion thread)

Forgive my ignorance, BarsMonster, but what is your native language? do you speek Belorussian or Russian or both? Re: Distributed crypo-network discussion

I don't think it is worth to have both ATI & CUDA to work together (like rotate on ATI rest on CUDA) - bandwidth would limit performance. I guess coexistence is possible even now under Linux without that Hydra chip or something - just because Linux can have multiple display drivers AFAIK. And hydra ...
