Liquid nitrogen and sugar phosphorescence

Finally managed to play with liquid nitrogen!
It appeared, that it's sold near my house, about ~1.5$ per liter.



I transported it in usual steel household vacuum flasks with some extra heat insulation. In these flasks liquid nitrogen boils out in ~30 hours. For comparison proper small volume cryogenic vacuum flasks boils out in ~25 days.

While my flasks were filled quite a bit got into the bag



I yet only recorded video of sugar phosphorescence - surprisingly it glows green when cooled to -195°C and "charging" with UV light:
